One of the only gated communities on the island, Royal Westmoreland is more than an upscale neighbourhood, it is like a luxury resort

For those seeking the best of the best in Barbados, the Royal Westmoreland private gated golf resort is a luxury residential community on the west coast of Barbados close to Holetown in St James.

With world-class 24/hour security, the verdant landscaped setting is home to over 250 of the most luxurious private villas in Barbados and an 18-hole Roberto Trent Jones Jr golf course. Facilities available to guests staying in villas with full or social membership privileges include saltwater swimming pools, clay tennis courts, a fitness center and a fabulous club house frequented by a lively community. Close by on the famous Mullins Beach, guests with membership privileges can enjoy a full-service beach club served by a free shuttle.

MEMBERSHIP TIERS

Each owner of a home in the Royal Westmoreland Estates can opt to pay for a yearly membership to access the resort facilities and golf course. The level of privileges will vary from property to property and is indicated on the individual listings.

Full membership

Guests have full access to the communal pools, jacuzzi, sanctuary gym, tennis court, golf course, driving range, beach facilities and Mullins Beach Club including a free shuttle to Mullins Beach. Fees apply to play golf with no limits on tee times. Villa guests must register for houseguest cards to access facilities, which must be done prior to arrival with the concierge team.

Social membership

Guests have access to the communal pools, jacuzzi, sanctuary gym, tennis court, beach facilities and Mullins Beach Club including a free shuttle to Mullins Beach but does not include use of the golf course or driving range. Guests can pay to play golf and use the driving range with limits on tee times. Villa guests must register for houseguest cards to access facilities, which must be done prior to arrival with the concierge team.

No membership

Guests do NOT have access to any of the Royal Westmoreland amenities. They cannot use the communal pools, gym, tennis courts, beach facilities or beach shuttle. They can use the restaurant and they can use the practice range only if they have booked and paid for golf (limits on tee times).
